House Rules

Quiet hours after 10pm out of respect for other guests and our wonderful neighbors. This is a "mountain" property. We do our best to keep pests to a minimum, but please watch out for country critters while outside. No Pets please or a $250 fee will be enforced (The owner has allergies and needs to keep a pet free space) This is a NON-SMOKING home/property. GUEST will be assessed a smoke/odor elimination fee of $475 for smoking, permitting smoking, or otherwise causing the odor of smoking anywhere on the property. No loose trash in the garage trashcan, it must be bagged. Trash pickup is Friday mornings.

If you are looking for a relaxing stay in a well appointed cabin with a Scandinavian aesthetic with hygge elements, this is the perfect place. We loved the cabin and the views of the surrounding mountains. Wildlife during our stay included turkey, elk, deer, and beautiful mountain birds just outside the windows. We actually hand washed dishes at the sink as the view and breeze through the window was lovely - yes, they have a dishwasher too! The host is very responsive and friendly!

Great spot! Loved the views, tons of elk, wild turkeys and prairie dogs. Scenic walks right out the door. Road was in good shape and my Prius did fine but I could imagine in rain or snow it might be tough with low clearance. Owner was very helpful giving us a recent road update. Hot tub under the stars was divine. Definitely grab your groceries before going up because you won’t want to leave once you’re there. Good swimming 30 minutes away at Mack’s Creek Campground.

The goal of our stay was to have a reset, truly relax, get some fresh air and feel rejuvenated and we got that 10 times over. This property is a bit of a drive outside of Boise, so I would recommend you be prepared for that drive, or bring all the snacks and food you would like to eat while you're there as it is up a dirt road, and I mean UP, you're quite literally going up a mountain, and entering a state of serenity that you wouldn't believe. You will see elk, deer and wild turkeys, stars you've never seen before, and hear a quiet that you can truly enjoy. The primary bedroom is very comfortable, the house has all the amenities you could need, the fireplace is very easy to get going, and while there is a TV in the living room and bedroom, you won't need it without how enjoyable and stunning the view is. Absolutely will look to return soon. Thank you so much for having this property available for people to experience!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. The hot tub under the stars was pure magic, the fireplace made the space so cozy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, as is the very large couch. Waking up to the beautiful views was the perfect start to each day. This place is peaceful, well-appointed, and exactly what we needed. The hosts are very friendly and it was easy to communicate with them.

Our stay at this property was fantastic from start to finish. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The layout was simple to navigate, and all the amenities were clearly explained and easy to use. The view was absolutely stunning and made it the perfect place to unwind. The hosts were exceptional, always quick and friendly in their communication throughout the booking and our stay, which made everything feel effortless. It’s clear that a lot of care and thought has gone into every detail, from the small touches around the property to how well stocked everything was. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I would love to stay here again the next time I’m in the area.
